Isle of Hope, GA Interior Designer

Isle of Hope is an unincorporated community in Chatham County, Georgia. Located on a small inland island eight miles from downtown Savannah, it is bounded by the Skidaway River to the east and the non-historic development to the north, west and south. The island is well-known for its historic plantations and exclusive waterfront properties.

Isle of Hope Resources:

Isle of Hope Historical Association – The Isle of Hope Historical Association was founded in 1977 by a group of residents determined to protect the island’s special heritage. They collect and present the history of Isle of Hope on their website, in their newsletter “The 1736 Gazette”, and through regular communications with their members.

Memorial Stadium – Memorial Stadium is a 5,000 capacity county owned multi-purpose stadium near Savannah, Georgia. The facility is dedicated to Georgia natives who died during war time. Today, it is primarily used by high school football stadiums.

Wormsloe State Historic Site – The Wormsloe State Historic Site offers its visitors a venue to interact with historical interpreters during programs and events, and a museum with artifacts found at Wormsloe.
